People who loiter on the rails of skating rinks, obstructing such rails from unsteady skaters a fall and a toe pick away from permanent facial deformation or death, are punks.

When I first read your post, the mention or rails, skating, and punks made me think that somehow you had become an extreme sports groupie. And I must admit, the image of you hanging with a bunch of people on skateboards, bikes, and blades at a skate park, listening to emo music, and sporting clothes with references to 420 really amused me.
Yes, but then I hoped you figured out it was an iceskating rink. Here is something that was going through my head as I was tripping and swaying and overall close to crying: "I'm going to fall down in front of someone, who, in an effort to avoid me will veer off to the side while picking up his foot, yet will not pick up his foot high enough and then will tear my face with the pick on his shoe, which will leave me permanently scarred, which will leave me horribly deformed an uneligible for marriage. However, if someone does marry me, my children will be mocked at school with nasty, horrible kids calling their mom a scar face, and, the most painful thing for them will be the fact that it will be true."
